On our most recent trip to Walt Disney World, Karl and I became pin collectors / traders. Disney pins aren’t new, but this fun (and expensive!) hobby was a brand new world to us, and we got hooked!

During every Walt Disney World trip so far, there’s always been something new to try, see or do. Walt Disney World is just so big, sometimes all the new things override the experiences that aren’t so new. Well, it was finally upon us. We had reached the end of our trip; it was time to leave Walt Disney World. Leaving is always such a sad day for us. I get so emotional.

Although it had been a late evening the night before, we were up bright and early for a breakfast dining reservation at The Wave in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We’d really been looking forward to it, but we weren’t looking forward to stepping outside; the weather was horrendous!

It was a Universal day and we were both pretty worn out from our late night at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party the night before. We were a little later leaving the room so we decided to skip breakfast and head straight to Universal. Although we had a hire car, Karl decided we should get an Uber instead as he was tired and it was easier.

As usual on our first morning at Walt Disney World, we were both wide awake at around 5am (stupid bodies thinking it was 10am!). We though we’d get up anyway, have some coffee and get ready for our first Disney day. We were going to our favourite place in the whole World; Epcot. We’d also be having our first character meal…ever!

Karl and I have been to Walt Disney World a few times now but during each visit, we always find there’s a new experience for us to enjoy and favourite experiences to enjoy again.
