It’s my birthday!!
Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. I hope you all had a great weekend and great start to the week. It was my birthday last Thursday and I had a wonderful few days and weekend away, so let’s begin…
It’s my birthday!!
Hello everyone and happy Monday. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and a great start to your week.
Couple of cool things from me so far this week…
It’s Reese’s time…
Hello everyone and happy Sunday! I can’t believe it’s Sunday already, where does the weekend go?!
So, Disney has announced some further changes to Hollywood Studios. The park is going through a major overhaul with the new Star Wars and Toy Story lands coming in the next few years.
Hello everyone and happy Thursday. A couple of things to share with you all today, so let’s get started…
As you may have seen from previous posts, I’ve been knitting a Gryffindor scarf and guess what…it’s finished!
I’m so, so pleased with it. I still can’t believe I took up knitting a year ago and I’m able to make this!
Hey everyone and happy Sunday. I can’t believe the weekend is nearly over yet it feels like it’s only just started.
Some of you may remember a few months ago, I made candy sushi with Poppin’ Cookin (here’s the post just in case). On a recent shopping trip to a supermarket called Tesco, I found the US version called Yummy Nummies. They looked exactly the same concept as Poppin’ Cookin only the instructions would all be in English rather than Japanese meaning I wouldn’t have to look up the instructions on Youtube.
Hello everyone and happy Friday! Whoop! Today’s post is all about our New Year’s trip to the wonderful city of Belfast. We first went to Belfast back in November 2014 and really, really enjoyed it! There’s so much to see, do, eat and drink (Guinness of course!), that we knew we would return one day. Karl decided it would be for New Year…
So last night Walt Disney World said goodbye to one of its top attractions; The Osborne Family Lights.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with what this is, it’s a display of dancing lights and decorations put on over the Christmas season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Although I never got to see the lights in person, I loved watching videos of them and looking at people’s beautiful photographs of them. If you haven’t seen them before, go check out a video on YouTube, there’s plenty of them.
The lights have been at Disney since 1995 but on September 11 2015, Disney announced they would be retiring the show which would have its last dance on January 3 2016. This prompted some outright rage from Disney and Osborne Lights fans alike. There were Facebook and Twitter accounts set up to try and get the lights saved and petitions made to stop this year being the last show. However it wasn’t to be and (at the time of publishing this) Disney haven’t changed their mind.
The lights were scheduled to have their final dance on January 3rd however due to the popularity, the show was extended to last night (January 7th) where they danced for one last time…

It was Christmas eve, I should have been amazingly excited however I felt ill. I had a terrible cold and felt like death warmed up. What a way to start the festive season! I tried to make the effort by wearing my Christmas jumper…
