A wonderful wedding and a trip to the zoo!

The last few days have been a dream. On Wednesday I travelled up to Oldham after work for a very good friends wedding. I was her bridesmaid along with 3 other lovely ladies. Unfortunately, I’d previously been unable to attend any of the wedding rehearsals as I live so far away so it was really exciting for me to be there. Husband (H) and I arrived there at around 20:00, H dropped off to the bridal party and he headed off to stay in a hotel close to the church on his own whilst I went back to the cottages with the bridesmaids and the bride herself.

Lego, sightseeing and a HUGE cocktail!

So, our Saturday in Copenhagen started off with a bad head. That’s right folks, I had a hangover and felt rough. I took some painkillers, had a shower and sat on the bed waiting for the Husband (H) to do get ready. I’m not sure if it was because I was a little delicate but it was SO hot in the hotel room that H and I took it in turns standing by the balcony window to try and cool down! It was a beautiful day and I realised I’d made a mistake with the outfits I had brought with me. All I had was jeans…it was going to be a hot one!

Our weekend in Copenhagen starts…

Todays blog post will start with the first day on my trip to beautiful Copenhagen last weekend. I’ve never been before so when the Husband (H) said we would be going I was very excited.

Firstly I’ll give you a bit of a background. H flew out to Copenhagen last Tuesday with his boss for a work conference so myself and our friend (who is the wife of H’s boss) would be flying out to meet them on the Friday to spend the weekend there with them and then fly home on Sunday.

This week has been so busy so I will fill you in a few highlights. Last Tuesday was my day off so I decided to go into town to do a final bit of wedding shopping. I managed to purchase 1 thing for the wedding…and 2 awesome  t-shirts…
